Dry ice alternatives....

After our camping trip we had some dry ice left over.  It was just going to waste in the cooler so Matt put it to use as a good couple hours of entertainment.  We watched the fog come off it and then he tried to figure out how to make fog rings.

Gather a pint jar.  A Dixie cup. A chunk of dry ice and a little water. And viola....

 
I was a little bummed that I couldn't get a better picture  of the rings once they floated away from the cup.

 I love his look of fascination!

And then we tried to pop a plastic bubble but couldn't hold the plastic tight enough to build the needed pressure.  Who needs dry ice bombs?
