As has been a tradition for a number of years Del and I go camping every year. This year was a bit difficult to coordinate our schedules so we didn't go camping until September 10th. It was the coldest I have ever been camping. Yes the white stuff on both tents is frost. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Thus far we have only been camping over night but talk all the time of extending it to a couple or three day trip. But regardless of how long or short it is we do have a few traditions. Our trip must include a weeny roast, smores, doughnuts, and a hike. When I lived in Logan it had to be Lee's doughnuts because they are yummy but we settled for just plain old doughnuts this year.
Here are a few of our highlights...
Matt always seems to have a following of little boys if there are any present. At one point on our hike he pointed out a noxious weed and destroyed it. The boys picked up sticks and followed suite destroying every weed we saw from the out on our hike.

| On the left you will notice the hooded ninja. At on point on our hike he got stung by a bee. He wasn't very happy about it. |

And that smile. Doesn't that just scream innocence? And his eyes? Don't get me started on this families eyes. They are a deep brown with long lashes that just draw you in.
